By law in Ontario, any vehicle on a provincial highway is required to have an insurance policy and an operator who possesses a valid driver's license. Whether or not you have an immaculate driving record, a ticket or two, or an accident or two, or even a record that less than favorable, Ontario law requires you to be insured.

Your previous driving record plays a big role in determining the cost of your premium. Some insurance companies will only insure low-risk drivers, well other insurers will only insure medium to high-risk drivers. For high-risk drivers that don't meet the requirement of a standard market the Facility Association has been set up to ensure everyone is able to get insurance regardless of your record. However, Facility insurance usually comes with a high price tag.

Do you need a second chance at insurance? Tom Putman of Billyard Insurance Group helps high risk drivers get the coverage they need at a reasonable price.
